I joined Timeless' Startup Journey early on, before the product even launched, which gave me the chance to make a meaningful impact on the company, the product, and the team. Like with any startup, I wore a lot of different hats—balancing strategy and team management while still staying hands-on with coding.

Key Achievements:

• Directed a team of international engineers in the successful execution of large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

At About You, I really got to dive deep into the world of e-commerce and fashion. While I was there, the company was gearing up for its IPO, so the focus was all about optimizing the product and streamlining processes.

Key Achievements:

• Modernized the shop application for desktop users, while implementing a new design.
• Organized hosting the React Hamburg meetup and provided a talk to enhance About You's visibility in the developer community.
• Collaborated with multiple engineering teams, driving initiatives to enhance product quality and streamline development processes.
• Improved analytics through the development of a new SDK, significantly increasing data quality and reducing errors by 75%.

In the winter semester of 2019, I taught a course on Mobile Development for business informatics students.

Key Achievements:

• Taught business informatics students mobile app development with React Native, Flutter, and native Android development. Conducted over 60 hours of hands-on training sessions, covering advanced mobile development techniques.
• Developed a curriculum of 10 learning units, incorporating the latest technologies and industry practices. Secured a 100% pass rate for 24 students by implementing a comprehensive revision program and peer learning sessions.

During my time at Cap3, I significantly expanded my skill set by working on a variety of projects, allowing me to explore different technologies, collaboration methods, and industry sectors. In addition to my role as a software engineer, I was also actively involved in direct customer interactions, including requirements engineering, coaching, and consulting.

Key Achievements:

• Laid the foundation for the TK-Doc app, resulting in an ongoing partnership with Techniker Krankenkasse.
• Developed a multilingual survey app enabling data collection from 100,000+ refugees and immigrants.
• Built and deployed mission-critical mobile applications with real-time data processing and high availability, ensuring reliability and user safety.
• Created a large-scale assessment software system in collaboration with the Kiel university, supporting educational research.
• Actively engaged with the local tech community by co-hosting the React Meetup in Kiel and founding the Förde DevOps Meetup.

While working in Kiel, I stayed closely connected to the local startup scene and supported Opencampus by offering various courses on web, app, and IoT development.

Tutored students in practical software development with Java and Python, helping them improve their coding skills and deepen their understanding of software engineering principles.

Joining the Microsoft Student Partner program gave me valuable insights into developer relations. I organized multiple hackathons and delivered tech talks, all with a focus on Microsoft technologies like Azure cloud and the Windows app platform.
